WHAT I DO
I contribute my management skills to physicians who need help accomplishing their practice financial goals. I have deep experience working with groups experiencing financial distress due to operational inefficiency. I step in and help them return to profitability. Consultants, management companies, physician professional advisers, and technology vendors also request me to become involved with their clients—executing projects such as Practice Management Systems implementations and upgrades, revenue cycle improvement initiatives, urgent practice turnarounds, and more.
HOW I WORK
I structure my affiliation in the manner that best suits the project scope and practice/organization’s needs. This may range from coming on board as a W2 Interim Administrator (with a predefined end-date), performing work on an hourly consulting basis, or engaging on a global fixed-fee project basis. With this range of flexibility, interested constituencies have access to my help as little or as much as they may need, with no geographic limitations. In short, if it has anything to do with improving practice performance and bottom line finances, it’s in my wheelhouse.
Organized workflow and effective processes make the best use of provider time and staff resources. Taken together and managed well, the result is not just better performance but also an increase in clinical quality and patient satisfaction that can be measured.
When everyone in your practice becomes more productive, fixed costs convert to variable costs, lowering overhead. Add prompt reimbursement to that mix and the result is net revenue—revenue that is now available for physician distribution. And when that happens, life is good.
Getting and staying profitable has become increasingly difficult for physicians today, yet most physicians report that they want to remain independent. Staying in private practice can still be done, but it requires an effective strategy and a focused implementation plan to get there.

Keeping Control IN The Practice - Where It Belongs.
The doctor-patient relationship should be the primary focus of any physician practice. Having the right amount of staff doing the right things at the right time yields more face-to-face time between doctors and their patients. I can help make it possible for you to glide through your clinical day with smooth practice operations.
Unstable finances can result when practices fail to put proper processes and controls in place to form a basis for that stability. I can help you implement and monitor processes that will help you maximize revenue while limiting overhead, supply waste, under/over staffing, ineffective purchasing, the risk for embezzlement and more.
The ability to transfer knowledge quickly within your practice operations gives you a substantial competitive advantage. Your staff members have unique skills and abilities. I can help you identify and develop key internal talent so you can reap the benefits of having a highly functioning team working at their peak capabilities.
